She was born on 1967. In the college, she studied to be a pharmacist, but when she was studying she found her truth vocation: be a manga-ka. She discovered this with her manga “love call”.
At the end of the college, she started to work in a hospital. She was very busy and she couldn’t continue drawing.
But she returns on 1991 with “code name Sailor V”, a manga about Minako and her cat Artemis in their battle to destroy the evil. It was very successful, so she decides to create a new version of it: “Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon”, that means “pretty soldier sailor moon” in Japanese.
The manga started to sell on February of 1999 and the TV show started on March of the same year.
The 6th of January of 1999 Naoko get married with Yoshiko Togashi, the manga-ka of “Yu Yu Hakusho”.
