She was born in Salinas, California. She grow up in San Diego. She has a young sister, Stella Hudgens. Her father is Greg Hudgens and her mother is Gina Guangco.
All of her grandparents were musicians in the period of the “Big Band”.
When she was 6 years old, she sang in musicals like “The king and me”, “The music man”, “The Cinderella” and “Damn Yankees”.
She also attend the Kingsbrook Businness and the Enterprise College in Deanshanger, England, she stood out in music and theatre.
She debuted in “Thirteen”, in the summer film (2004) she acted in “Thunderbirds”. She acted in TV shows like “Quintuplets”, “Still Standing”, “Cover me”, “Robbery Homicide”, “Drake and Josh”, “Brothers Garcia” and “The sweet life of Zack and Cody”.
She became more and more famous with “High School Musical”.
She participated in the Disney Channel Games in April 2006. In that year she signed a musical contract with Hollywood Records, she recorded an album named “V” in September 26th, 2006.
Vanessa changed her name to Baby V. She loves the animals; she has a dog named Candy (a golden Retriever).
